On April 5, 2023, discussion@lists.fsfe.org stat­ed, “On the third Sat­ur­day in Sep­tem­ber, the world tra­di­tion­al­ly cel­e­brates Soft­ware Free­dom Day. This year it is Sep­tem­ber 16, 2023.” — Here are some impres­sions from the last day.

It may sur­prise us a bit that there is also an annu­al I love Free Soft­ware Day, also pro­mot­ed by FSFE. Ok, we have two days. But the one is already some­how occu­pied as “Valen­tine’s Day”. So let’s rel­ish­ing­ly focus on Sep­tem­ber 16, 2023.
